About HAT

Frustrated by a general lack of awareness in America as it relates to both the rise of poor (failing) health conditions and their direct (and negative) impact on economic, human and social conditions, Gary Earl (HAT creator, founder and leader) put to prayer and test the possibility of riding 100 miles a day across America delivering a message of health and hope, one person, one mile at a time.

Based upon discernment, reasearch, council and strong family consideration, Gary came to the only conclusion he could. The tour was not an option, but rather a mission to impact the lives of every person he could and in so, continue what he saw (and still sees today) as a purpose for which he was uniquely created.

The story that you will experience as you ride along with us on this blog is not about Gary, nor about the tour. Rather this story, the facts, images and adventures are about each one of us. Our dreams, hopes and legacy and life. My you be moved to action while reading along and perhaps inspired to begin a journey of your own. Your own personal tour of health; be it for you as an individual, your family, business, church or town in which you live. Health is personal, health is powerful, health is life in itself. May you experience the ride of a lifetime.

Ride on. The Health Awareness Team
